BirdLife Mornington Peninsula Outing

Overview

Join BirdLife Mornington Peninsula and outing leaders Penny Johns & Roger Richards for a weekend outing to a working mixed farm NE of Mansfield

• Come along and spend a couple of days birding and socialising with fellow birders in the evening
• Spend your time birding in organised groups or on your own as you wish
• Alternatively, just sitting around reading and talking as it will be very informal
• The site is accessible by 2WD including caravans
• Children welcome

Accommodation

BYO camping or shared rooms in the shearer’s quarters

• Camping consists of 2-3 powered sites & 7-10 unpowered sites (depends on tent sizes)
• The shearer’s quarters include toilets and a couple of hot showers, basic beds with mattresses in 6 rooms of various sizes (BYO all your bedding ([suggest sleeping bag and undersheet] and pillows), equipped kitchen and BBQ

Cost Optional: $30-50pp donation to Birdlife Mornington Peninsula would be appreciated (kids under 15 free)

A working mixed farm NE of Mansfield – approximately a 3 hour drive from Melbourne
