Bannister Creek runs into Canning River and a South East Regional Centre for Land Care (SERCUL) Project has been working for some years on a significant rehabilitation project along this creek. The main activities have been weed removal, replanting with appropriate vegetation and sculpturing the creek so small weirs aerate the water. An annual bird survey is undertaken by Sue and the birds are starting to return.
