BirdLife WA - Walk - John Forrest National Park

  • Date Sunday, 24 September 2023
  • Time 8:30 am
  • Locations John Forrest National Park

If you have a National Parks pass, bring it with you. Otherwise, entry is $15 per vehicle or $8 per vehicle concession but may be subject to change.
Meet near the information board in the facilities area. We will follow walk and fire trails over undulating terrain and can expect to see a mix of the birds of the Jarrah forest and the drier Wandoo woodland areas, as both vegetation communities are represented in the park. On previous visits, between 40 and 50 species have been recorded. As this is a long, circular walk you may wish to carry something to drink with you.

Bring a chair and morning tea to have while we do a combined birdlist.

Leader: Peter Sandilands

If you feel at all unwell – PLEASE STAY HOME.
