BirdLife WA - Walk - John Forrest National Park

  • Date Sunday, 25 August 2024
  • Time 8:30 am
  • Locations John Forrest National Park

Half-day excursion (8:30am – 12pm) – (BirdLife WA Members only)

If you have a National Parks pass, bring it with you. Otherwise, entry is $17 per vehicle or $10 per vehicle concession but may be subject to change.

Meet near the information board in the facilities area. We will follow walk and fire trails over undulating terrain through areas we haven’t visited before and can expect to see a good selection of the birds of the Jarrah forest. On previous visits, between 40 and 50 species have been recorded. As this is a long, circular walk you may wish to carry something to drink with you.

Bring morning tea to have while the bird list is compiled.

For BLWA members and their guests only

Leader: Peter Sandilands
