This is a semi-permanent wetland with a fringe of paperback trees noted for its waterbirds. After walking around the lake, we will take the path up to the ridge lookouts to the west before returning back to the carpark via the easily negotiated Manning Stairs.
Bring a chair and morning tea to have while we do a combined bird list.
