Creating bird and biodiversity friendly gardens
Join Dr Rochelle Steven (Deputy Convenor, BirdLife WA) as she shares ideas and inspiration to create gardens for nature.
BirdLife Australia is Austalia’s largest member-based conservation organisation, working for more than a century to advocate for bird and bird habitat conservation.
At this event, you will hear from conservation scientist, Dr Rochelle Steven, as she shares expert advice what you can do (and not do) to create a garden that is a safe haven for our beautiful native birds and biodiversity. Learn why Australia’s birds need more than the odd grevillea and banksia to truly thrive in the ever expanding urban landscape.
Bring a notebook for jotting down ideas.
Afternoon tea will be served after the talk with time for discussion.
The workshop costs $10. To book go to Eventbrite.
