Bellingen Birders – Outing on Sunday 20 August 2023 to Moonee Beach 30 keen birders showed up at Moonee Beach for a cool 8 am start. After a half hour of viewing, including two Eastern Rosellas checking out nesting sites and the Beach Stone-curlew in its private backyard, we split into 2 Groups, with one group heading to Look at Me Now Headland, and the other to Sapphire Beach Headland. A total of 73 species were seen.
