Friday, 24 November 2023

  • Estimated reading time 10 minutes

Powerful Owls are  endemic to forested areas of Eastern Australia and are often seen at the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden, Coffs Harbour. They roost amongst the old growth trees, especially from Autumn to spring, and duets may be heard at the start of the breeding season.

Friends of the Botanic Garden have published a brochure on the Powerful Owl, with BirdLife Northern NSW donating to this project.
