We use Australia Post to ship our orders. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and cover the cost of parcel tracking. Domestic orders over $100 are shipped free.
Yes, we offer international shipping. International shipping costs are calculated at checkout and cover the cost of parcel tracking. Please see below for international customs taxes & duties information.
If your order is being delivered to an address outside Australia, it may be subject to customs taxes and duties. These fees are the responsibility of the customer receiving the order.
As we are unable to estimate customs taxes and duties, please contact your local authorities or customs office for more detailed information.
If you paid customs taxes and duties as part of clearing your parcel through customs but you then decide to return the parcel, we will not refund these fees. Please contact the customs authority regarding a refund of these charges.
Customs processing may delay the delivery of your order. Should you experience a delay please check with your local customs offices.
BirdLife Australia is based in Australia and ships products from Australia. While we welcome international orders, please be aware that you are solely responsible for any customs duties, taxes, tariffs, or import charges that may be levied by your country upon the arrival of your order.
These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and may vary depending on the destination country’s laws and import thresholds. We recommend checking with your local customs authority to determine what, if any, charges may apply before placing an order.
BirdLife Australia is not responsible for any delays, holds, or costs incurred due to customs processing or clearance in your country.
We cannot facilitate store purchases or pick-ups from our offices, as all of our shop merchandise is kept offsite.
We will aim to post your order within 2 working days of the order confirmation being received. All orders will be sent from Victoria. For most orders in Australia your order should arrive within 5-10 business days.

Yes, we use Stripe to process our payments. Stripe is certified to the highest industry standards and has regulatory licences around the world. Please refer to their website for more information.
Yes, we do accept payments from both AMEX and Diners Club.
No, unfortunately we are not able to accept cheques.
Yes. Proceeds from all sales made through the Shop go directly towards supporting Birdlife Australia’s conservation projects.
For products purchased that are found to be faulty, we will replace the product or give a refund to the value of the original purchase price.
Refunds will be processed to the same card that was used for payment.
If you change your mind about the products you have purchased from us online, each return/refund will be looked at on a case-by-case basis.

Unfortunately, we cannot add items to your order once it has been submitted. Additionally, we cannot combine orders that have been made at different times.
