Nominations for Hobbs and Serventy Medals close in November

It’s that time of year again — nominations are now open for BirdLife Australia’s esteemed Hobbs and Serventy Medals. 

The Hobbs Medal recognises outstanding voluntary contributions by amateur birdwatchers to bird conservation and science in Australia.

The Serventy Medal celebrates significant achievements by academic ornithologists with a strong track record of publications.

As of this year, each medal may be awarded annually to two deserving individuals nominated independently.
