Join BirdLife Bayside for an outing led by Tania Ireton for an outing to Point Nepean.
We will be birding near the carpark at the old visitor centre before driving to the new visitor centre at the Quarantine Station. We will have an early lunch at the Quarantine Station and then walk to the end of Point Nepean (approx. 5.5 km). The intention is to catch the 4pm bus back to the Quarantine Station ($12 adults, $8 concession, cash and card accepted) but people may elect to walk.

Please wear suitable clothes and shoes for bushwalking, including a hat and sunscreen. Please note that outings are very rarely cancelled, but will be automatically cancelled on days of a Total Fire Ban or severe weather.
Meet at the carpark on the left immediately inside the park near the old visitors centre (Melway map 156 C 2).
