Gang-gang Cockatoos arrive in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne in Autumn and stay for Winter. As well as native gums an acacia they like to feed on the berries of introduced shrubs like Cotoneaster and Hawthorn bushes. This immature male was one of three birds feeding on my neighbours Cotoneaster. This one perched on the internet cable running to my house and the grey background are my roof tiles.
