The Big Jarrah Rally is arranged for WA Day, 2nd June starting in Supreme Court Garden at 2pm, then walking up to Parliament House. It is a timely publicity event ahead of EPA assessment of Alcoa’s proposal to clear a further 8,500ha for bauxite mining. This is significant for the future of black cockatoos, especially for the endangered Baudin’s Black Cockatoo.
We say its Baudins or bauxite – you can’t have both.
Please support the campaign to protect Jarrah forest by attending the rally and being a voice for birds.
