BirdLife Bayside Monthly Meeting

Overview

Members Night – Depending on the number of participants, each will be given 5-10 minutes to talk about something of interest to them – a bird, a place, a trip, etc. Each person can show up to 15 photographs or Powerpoint slides. Bird of the evening: Wedge-tailed Eagle

Competition theme: Victorian Falcons, Kites, Harriers, Eagles, Hawks & Osprey (13)

How much: Meetings are $5 for visitors ($25 for the year, $40 for families) and includes a light supper. Enquiries: bayside@birdlife.org.au

We will also be celebrating 30 years of meetings and outings as the group began in March 1996 with a monthly meeting and outing for three months to gauge if there was sufficient interest to start a local branch. The meetings and outings continued for the rest of the year and the branch was officially created in February 1997.
