There is a variety of waterbirds and bush birds. The walk is an easy two kilometre circuit. Half the route is a universal access sealed path with the option to return that way if desired. The rest is a limestone track, sometimes with wet or rough patches. Wear stout shoes, bring sun and insect protection. Part of the walk is on a popular cycle path, so participants need to be considerate of other path users.
Bring a chair and morning tea to have while we do a combined birdlist.
For BLWA members and their guests. Members of the public are welcome to join the walk (bring binoculars).
