We are looking for a team member with a diverse set of skills to facilitate the adaptive development and delivery of Green Adelaide’s ‘Sharing our Shores with Coastal Wildlife’ project. Key initiatives of the project are to coordinate strategic efforts across agencies, local government, community and industry to better conserve and protect threatened shorebirds and seabirds and priority coastal habitats of Adelaide and its surrounds including the Fleurieu Peninsula and Gulf St Vincent.

We have set ambitious new targets to put birds and nature on the path to recovery as part of our Bird Conservation Strategy Combining the best scientific expertise, partnership with institutions and communities and the unique capacity of birds to engage and spark joy, the Bird Conservation Strategy aims to halt overall bird population declines by 2050.
The Sharing our Shores with Coastal Wildlife Project Support Role will be responsible for coordination and evidence-based guidance of key stakeholders, partner organisations and community groups, report writing, volunteer coordination and management, stakeholder engagement and education, and contract delivery and management.

This is a part-time role 4 days per week (0.8 FTE) based in Adelaide offered on a max term 12-month contract which comes with an attractive salary range of $59,420 – $65,239 per annum (dependant on skills and experience) plus 11% super.
Please note the salary specified is the pro rata amount for the 4 days of the full time equivalent.
