The Executive Committee of BirdLife Northern NSW organises two campouts per year generally in autumn and spring. Campouts may be held in any suitable birding location across the whole of the Northern NSW region (from the Port Macquarie area to the Queensland border, west to Broken Hill).
A Campout Coordinator is needed to join the Committee to assist with pre-campout organisation, administration of the campout and post-campout activities. Campouts provide an enjoyable way to meet other birders and to visit other areas within the Branch as well as being the major fundraiser for Branch approved research and conservation projects. The usual practice is to hold the Branch AGM and Committee elections at the autumn campout. The position is voluntary, as are all other Committee positions.
The position is voluntary, as are all other Committee positions. Applications for reimbursement for travel and other costs may be considered by the Committee.
