Nature journaling is a combination of science, art and mindfulness. Enjoy a quiet time with nature, observing the ebb and flow of our local birds, other wildlife and native plants, as we explore with our curiosity and record observations in a sketchbook. Guided by Jane Rusden, artist, birder and environmentalist.
No experience necessary, all welcome.
Please bring:
Pencil and paper, you might like to use a sketchbook, coloured pencils, watercolours, watercolour pencils, paint brushes, water pot, any other art supplies that you enjoy.
You might like your camera or binoculars.
A bag to put your art supplies in, which easy to carry up to 500 meters on uneven ground.
A light weight camping chair or rug to sit on.
Water to drink, snacks
Sun cream, sun hat.
Please wear sun and snake protective clothing – long sleeve shirt, trousers, sturdy shoes and socks.
Stay warm and dress accordingly.
