Campout Yuragir National Park, Brooms Head

BirdLife Northern Rivers - Outing

Times: Single day (Saturday) starts 7:00 am NSW – Ends by noon or later, Campout Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon

Meet:  parking area at the southern end of North Head Road. This road is gravel and can be quite bumpy, though suitable for all vehicles.
Nearest toilets: at the parking area, if open
Register if you intend to participate.
Notify if you have questions or if you need to cancel.

Overnight choices:

•  camp at or near Red Cliff Grey Cliff Camping Ground (book early), toilet available
•  BnB, holiday parks available at Brooms Head ( about 9 minutes’ drive away: 1 shop, 1 café, 1 restaurant)
•  Many more facilities available at Maclean (23 minutes away)

Or … just come for Saturday.

What to bring?

Bring:

• binoculars
• something to sit on
• morning tea and possibly lunch
• water
• sunscreen
• hat and sturdy shoes
• insect repellent
