Half-day excursion
Bring your WA Annual All Parks Pass if you have one, otherwise entry is $17 per vehicle or $10 per vehicle for seniors. Proceed through the entrance gate and go left at the roundabout. There is a large parking area and I suggest we meet near the covered barbecue area which is adjacent to the toilet block. There should be a variety or bushbirds and waterbirds. Yanchep National Park is part of the Northern Swan Coastal Plain IBA for Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo.
Bring a chair and morning tea to have while the bird list is compiled. For BLWA members and their guests. Members of the public are welcome to join the walk and are advised to bring a pair of binoculars.
