‘Nest-flix’ returns for 2026 season

The Collins Street falcons have returned, and so has the 2026 season of ‘nest-flix’ – our favourite reality TV show!

Last week, the pair of Peregrine Falcons returned to nest on the ledge of a skyscraper in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, kicking off the hugely popular 24-hour livestream of their nest. Since then, the pair have laid four eggs, much to the delight of their many adoring fans. Now, we wait for the eggs to hatch (in around 33 days’ time).

The pair, known as F24 and M24, are believed to be the same birds from the 2024 and 2025 seasons, in which all three chicks successfully fledged the ledge.

Peregrine Falcons have been using nest boxes on the building’s ledge since 1991. Webcams were installed at the site ten years ago, and the livestream has continued to soar in popularity ever since – now boasting a global fanbase of over 56,000 members in the 367 Collins Falcon Watchers Facebook group.

The 367 Collins Street Falcons Livestream is led by the Victorian Peregrine Project (VPP), established by Peregrine expert and member of the BirdLife Australia Raptor Group (BARG) Dr Victor Hurley, in partnership with Mirvac.

The live, remote camera feed is available to watch online at any time, and includes both north and south facing views of the nest.
