Join BirdLife Bayside for an outing led by Tania Ireton for an outing to Heatherton Road South & Heatherton Road North Wetlands
We will cover both wetlands, starting with the north, following the bike path under Heatherton Road to circle the southern wetlands, and then following the path back to complete the northern wetlands. Bring lunch and folding chairs. You may want to consider gumboots or gaiters in case of long wet grass. There is a single Exeloo toilet where we are parking and more toilets inside the stadium.

Please wear suitable clothes and shoes for bushwalking, including a hat and sunscreen. Please note that outings are very rarely cancelled, but will be automatically cancelled on days of a Total Fire Ban or severe weather.
Meet in the car park at the far righthand side of the Dandenong Sports Stadium off Stud Road (Melway map 90 G 1).
