Half-day excursion
We will check out the mudflats for numerous shorebirds including migratory ones. There are always bush birds in the park. There is a Viewing Platform located on the right at entrance to Troy Park carpark.
An Osprey pole has been installed at Point Waylen and the nest is often used.
Bring your telescope if you have one. Bring a chair and morning tea to have while we do a combined bird list.
For BLWA members and their guests. Members of the public are welcome to join the walk (bring binoculars).
