BirdLife WA - Walk - Badgerup Reserve, Wanneroo

  • Date Saturday, 3 October 2026
  • Time 8:00 am
  • Locations Badgerup Reserve, Wanneroo

Overview

Half-day excursion

This walk of about 3.5 kms leads through a variety of bushland habitats and around part of Badgerup Lake, although only a small section of the lake is visible due to dense reed growth. A good selection of bush-birds has been seen here plus raptors over the lake and several parrot species, including Red-capped Parrot and Elegant Parrot.

Bring a chair and morning tea to have while we do a combined bird list.

For BWA members and their guests. Members of the public are welcome to join the walk (bring binoculars).

Leader: Pete White
