Male Superb Lyrebird drying up his tail feathers on a rainy day. I loved how the shape of his tail looked like a bow and while he tended to his filamented feathers he looked like an archer tucking an arrow. Taking into account the importance of the visual display I like how this scene can be reference to Cupid tucking one of his arrows.

Birdlife Australia celebrates Include a Charity Week

Birdlife Australia has joined Include a Charity Week to encourage Australians to “Change the World Tomorrow”

A bequest to Birdlife Australia is the most thoughtful and powerful gift anyone can ever make to ensure a future for Australia’s most endangered birds. A gift in your will costs nothing today but creates lasting benefits for tomorrow. Your decision today becomes your legacy – a future filled with bird song.

This week hundreds of Australian charities have come together for Include a Charity Week – to encourage Australians to consider leaving a gift in their Will to causes they care most about.

This year’s theme, “Plant a Tree Today, Change the World Tomorrow,” is a powerful message for legacy giving. When you plant a tree, you don’t do it for today. You do it for tomorrow – for the lives it might touch, the shade it could offer, the future it quietly shapes. A gift in your Will works the same way.
