We are looking for an Office Administration Manager to provide administration and accounts support to our Southern NSW Branch.

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining accounts, monitoring and distributing the branch’s incoming emails, responding to enquiries, providing varied administrative support to the branch committee and its subcommittees, and editing the monthly enews and assisting with the organisation of branch events.

You will do this by:

• Maintaining the branch’s accounts including payment of invoices, receipt of funds and recording of finances for branch projects.
• Liaison with BirdLife National Office on financial matters
• Processing all correspondence received in a timely manner
• Maintenance of the branch’s web page including events calendar and activities
• Updating and maintenance of ‘Office Manual’ procedures
• Compilation of monthly ‘eNews’ newsletter
• Preparation of reports for the Executive Committee meetings
• Liaising with the Treasurer on a regular basis regarding expenditure
• Building effective working relationships with branch volunteers including the Discovery Centre Volunteer Co-ordinator
• Supporting the Committee, subcommittees and branch projects with various activities as needed
• General office management including filing, office supplies and oversight of the first aid kit

Benefits on offer:

This is a part-time hybrid position 14 hours per week based in the NSW Discovery Centre, Homebush, Sydney and from a home-based location. Salary $25,574 per annum (pro rata of $68,500) plus 11% super.
